We celebrated this little dragon's 3rd birthday yesterday! Three years ago Tanner came into our lives, and we couldn't feel more blessed to have him as a part of our family. He has such a vibrant little spirit, and is full of so much life! I have thoroughly enjoyed watching him learn and grown over these past years. Nothing can brighten up a room faster-- than our Tanner with his great big smile, contagious laugh and big brown eyes.
We love you so much Tanner bug! Happy 3rd Birthday to you!
There has been quite a fascination you could say, with dragons around our house over the years! It actually is kind of ironic that it started with Hunter 3 years ago, when he was a Knight for Halloween. On the crest of the armor to his costume-- there was a dragon imprinted there, and ever since Dragons have been a really big deal! That was also the Halloween that Tanner was born--and little brother has followed big brother's fascination too!
I bet you will never guess what each of them picked to be for Halloween this year.........HA! I guess you'll have to wait and see until next weekend.
Well anyway, How To Train Your Dragon came out on DVD this past week, and it couldn't have come at a better time! So let the celebrating begin........
Getting Tanner a Dragon cake was the top priority!
Then celebrating Tanner's special day with friends and family
was next on the list! My mom flew out this past weekend to be here with us, and our good friends' the Spjut's came along to enjoy the day with us as well. It was a great night out. We went to the Incredible Pizza Company--which is a place that has games and arcades for the kids to play, and it also has a pretty decent pizza buffet! It was a lot of fun-- and I know that Tanner felt very loved and special!
Make A Wish!
Let the games begin...
And opening presents
Among other great gifts, Tanner got the movie How to Train your Dragon. I love the look on both Tanner's and Hunter's faces here--two little mischievous dragons is what those two are. Ha! Thanks so much to everyone who helped to make his birthday so special--we love you all!
