{sunday photo: utah edition}

Yes, my Sunday photo is late again this week. But at least this time all of my photos were actually taken on Sunday ;)
Well, we made it to the Beehive state a couple days ago....and haven't stopped since the minute we landed in SLC. So much to do, so little time! Story of our lives' each summer when we come out to visit friends and family. I honestly wouldn't trade it for the world. We have been richly blessed with such wonderful and supportive families. So the next few blog posts will likely be a record of our travels.

Three rosy cheeked, hot and sweaty little children. When we landed...we were greeted with a sweltering 103 degrees. Yuck! We *Iowans* are no strangers to heat, but dang that is hot. Here they are enjoying the afternoon on grandma and grandpa's new golf cart.

Sunday morning we awoke early and headed off to church with my parents. Here is a picture with me and my lovely sister. They don't get much better than her :)

Grandma and Tanny on the cart waiting to take a ride around the neighborhood.

If you were wondering where we went, it was to visit this duck. He does indeed have a name too--and it is Douglas. He lives in my aunt's backyard, and people come from all around the neighborhood to see him. Of course my kids thought he was the coolest.

Brady and Jess with the buddies.

We closed the night with a movie in the theater room with everyone.
Here are Zac and Erika with the kiddos. It is not often that we are all gathered together as a family...so I truly do cherish those times that we are all under the same roof.

Ok so this last picture wasn't actually taken on Sunday. It was bright and early Monday morning. I went on a 20 mile bike ride with my handsome daddy. No better way to start the day than with my dad, breathing in the crisp morning air, and riding my bike as I gaze up at the beauty of the mountains that surround me.

I am blessed!
