{gettin' our frankenstein on}

Well, this past weekend my wonderful mom came out for a visit. It was so much fun having her stay with us--especially during our favorite time of year! We packed in as many festive Halloween activities as possible, and we all had a very memorable time with her. My mom is the greatest, and I don't know what I would do without her. She constantly uplifts and supports me-- through some of my most challenging times, and she always seems to know just the right thing to say! I love you mom. Thanks for a fabulous weekend.

One of the more crafty things we did this weekend, was make these creepy little critters.

These cupcakes were such a fun activity and everyone got in on the action. Of course Hunter and Tanner thought that they were very cool, and after we were all done, I kind of thought so too.

We also made these little tombstone cupcakes which were MUCH easier. A great way to spice up your next Halloween party. If you look closely in the pic above you will notice bloody fingernails coming out of the grave. A little creepy...umm YES!

Then we went to the Zoo for some Trick-or-treating fun!

It is always so fun when people come to visit, and always so hard when the time comes for them to go back home! We love you mom. Thanks for helping us get our "Frankenstein On" this weekend!
