{a visit from grandpa morris}

Grandpa Morris came to stay with us last weekend! It was such a fun little treat for us to have him here. Steve and his dad spent a majority of their time--hunting birds. Steve was able to take some time off of work, and got to spend some really good quality time with his dad which I know he really enjoyed.

On Saturday morning, Hunter got to participate in the hunt. He couldn't have been more excited to go. Especially because it has become a tradition to stop off at McDonald's on the way to the hunting spot, and get a bacon egg and cheese McMuffin for breakfast. We don't hardly ever eat there for breakfast, so it is a real treat for him :)

They came home with 2 doves, 2 ducks and 1 pheasant.
(We even cooked up the pheasant for dinner the next day)
