It is always a happy time when visitors come to stay with us. My parents are here visiting for the week and came to celebrate Tanner's 6th birthday. (More on that to come)
Today was such a nice day spent going to church, and then taking a little drive out to Winterset and the Bridges of Madison County. In all of the years that we have lived here, we had never taken them to see the beautiful and scenic drive-- that this quaint little town has to offer.
We ended the day with a delicious dinner of fresh seared salmon, rice pilaf, a vegetable medley of zucchini, squash, asparagus, green peppers and broccoli on the grill and my all time favorite dessert made by my mom--lemon meringue pie!!

your kids are so cute and Winterset looks so fun as well. I have not taken advantage of going down there to see bridges either.
