As I have stated numerous times before--this time of year, is by far my favorite! I love the Fall for many reasons, but there is also someone in our family, who loves the Fall even more than I do! (if that's even possible.) Steve loves this time of year, because it means two very important things take place at this time......
Hunting and college Football season!

This year--our firstborn, aptly named for one of Steve's greatest loves--
Hunter, got to experience for the first time in his life, a real hunt! A few weekends ago, Steve and Hunter got up at the crack of dawn, and headed off to the corn fields to hunt some doves. I would say they had a successful run, because you can see from this pic above how many birds they got. Hunter's job was to gather up the doves after Steve shot them, and carry them in his vest. He thought this was pretty dang cool. So, now I have in my freezer-- 12 dove breasts, that supposedly one day I will cook up in the oven and make some
dove nuggets with! Yum right? I know you all want to come over to our house for dinner that night.......

Alas, little brother is still too young for hunting trips with dad--but he still wanted to run around in a vest just like his dad and big brother. On a side note, the vest Tanner is wearing in this picture, was made by Steve's grandma almost 50 years ago. Steve's dad wore it as a little boy, and now it has been passed down to Tanner.

Look how happy my
Hunter is!!

Awe, college football. What a marvelous time of year it is at the Morris house. Especially when the Utes win. I have some of the greatest memories going to the football games with Steve when he was doing his undergraduate there. We love watching the games, and cheering on our team.

Showing off their
Utah Ute pride!

So in this house, as you can see I am a bit outnumbered--and surrounded by a
bunch of boys! So I guess it is a good thing for them, that
this girl happens to love it almost as much as they do! (Almost!)
