{back to school}

Back to School
I can't believe how quickly our summer flew by. It was certainly a summer to remember that is for sure ;) But this year, back to school really did seem to creep up on me, and before I knew it we had a 3rd grader and a new Kindergartner up in this house. Say what??!
 They each got to pick out a new shirt to wear on the first day. Hunter went with a Darth Vader and Tanner went with stripes. They both got new backpacks and shoes as well.

New kicks

The first two days of school are 'transition days' for the new Kindergartners-- which means that they start late and come home early. So Steve and I got to drop him off at the school on his first day, and Hunter was excited to be back riding the bus.

With a quick hug from dad, Tanner was anxious to get in line and wait to be let inside the school.

He was not nervous, he was not scared...he was ready to get the show on the road.

And here we have little Sis. Mia has found a new sense of freedom and delight in having the house all to herself during the days. And all that spells out for me, is T-R-O-U-B-L-E!!! That girl can tear the house a part in a matter of minutes if she is left to her own devices.
We have dubbed her-- "Seek and Destroy"

But she is pretty dang happy when her brothers get home in the afternoon-- and she thinks that she's pretty hot stuff when she gets to meet them at the bus stop.
